"Guide for  Delhi & NCR"

About Delhi & NCR

Transportation: Delhi is a hub of Startup culture, so thankfully most of the Indian cities have Uber and its competitive Indian brand Ola, the first choice among tourist and international resident. The cab aggregators OLA & UBER offer city and outstation ride service. If, you have plans to get away on the weekend for short trip and prefer to drive yourself then you can simply google self-drive cars rental.

Delhi has auto-rickshaw, yeah, maybe you recognised it as TUK TUK, well we never recommend this unless you are good at negotiating. Unfortunately, Delhi auto-rickshaw drivers are very famous for looting foreign tourist and international residents. If you are in Mumbai than feel free to go ahead to book one without any trouble, they follow fair policy and strictly follow the meter rule.

If you want to enjoy a TUK TUK ride and don't want to get cheated then the trick is to use Google Maps, put in your destination, see how many km it is and calculate 30 INR for the first 3 km and further add 8 INR per km. Don't forget to keep on using Google maps so you know the auto driver is not taking you on a merry go round, LOL.

Education: Many international residents are students of Jawahar Lal University, known as JNU, famous for international relations, language & culture related education, modern history and more. The next one on our list is Delhi University for undergraduate, master’s degree, business school, PhD and research. Delhi University has two main campuses, south campus and north campus. If you prefer to stay close to campus, feel the vibes and chill then just choose a north campus. The nearest metro station to reach north campus is Vishvidalya metro station.

For top MBA or Business School, Delhi offers colleges like FMS, Delhi, IIFT (foreign trade), MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad. These are among the top 10 business schools in India. For fashion & design, Delhi offers NIFT, Hauz Khas. For science & technology, there is world-famous IIT Delhi and DTU. For architecture, there is a School of Planning & Architecture. For theatre, there is NSD Delhi and for arts, College of Fine Arts. There are many more top ranking schools in Delhi specializing in different fields of study.
